La Shawn Lukes is an African American business owner,

Advisor, Strategist and Philanthropist seasoned with over 20

years of experience in the media industry.

Lukes is founder of Cultivating Lives 501c3, a nonprofit organization. Its mission is to educate, mentor and empower individuals and families living within compromised communities with programming that focuses on financial literacy, education, career building, character

development, life skills and reentry.

Lukes has served as the Social Media Chairwoman for a Local Mayoral Candidate. As the main communications liaison she assumed his online presence, interacting on social media and posting on his behalf. During her tenure as the Social Media Chairwoman, she also structured

productivity reports, evaluated data with a small committee and accessed private information of voters for the purpose of promoting the candidate brand initiative awareness. She strategized the

online traffic increasing methods to the mayor’s website as well as attended all campaign meetings as head chair.

Lukes’s experience in the media industry renders insurmountable as she has developed under multiple titles: Consulting for several brands, entertainment personalities , celebrity influencers and Politicians fostering long term relationships.

Lukes uses her creative voice to promote women's empowerment by showing how everyday women can transition out of different states of abuse through photos. The 4th Photo Installation will be released Fall 2022. The Bag Lady Photo Experience serves women through workshops and resources. Lukes directly empowered over 125 women and their families. Lukes has received several awards and citations and has been published in domestic and international magazines.

La Shawn Lukes continues to enjoy a growing successful career as a multi-hyphenated entrepreneur. Her work ethic has assessed her as an influential woman. This has led her to be a sought after influencer. Of all of the titles she holds, the most sacred is that of a mother to high achieving young adults and glamma to her grand daughter.
